A few of us have decided to throw together a bit of a get together. This meet up is designed for a relaxed stress free catch up, meet and greet and to show off our pride and joys. We have such a great community, so lets make the most of it!!!
"Dubs n Diner Cruise" on June 17th
We will all be meeting at the Ettamogah Pub at 10am, feel free to organise cruises and meet ups from where ever you may be travelling from. We will be leaving the Pub at 10:45am to all cruise to Ricks Diner together.
Arrive at Ricks Diner around 11am
Review of Ricks Diner who havent been before:
"Old fashioned service, great food, and atmosphere in the one great location!
Located in (not so) sleepy Palmwoods, Qld this diner is modelled along the lines of the "Happy Days" Diners. Frequented by a lot of travellers on their way up the winding roads toward the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, 'Ricks Diner' has become a bit of a tradition / institution for most of them.
Aside from atmosphere, the accent is certainly on burgers and coffee and these are two things the staff certainly ace. In fact the internal roof is dedicated to those who have thoroughly enjoyed their 'Big One' burger and write about either their accomplishments achieving the task of eating it or their best attempt.
Aside the above this is just a good fun experience - the locals are friendly, owners Rick and Lisa are always up for a chat and it certainly won't send you broke for a morning out."
Depending on how everyone feels after lunch, we may all cruise to another location along the beach front.
